But if we had to pick just one, it would have to be Niagara Falls. This thundering waterfall, located on the border of Ontario and New York, is a sight to behold. Millions of tourists visit every year to take in the spectacle.

10) Ottawa’s Tulip Festival

14) Okanagan

The Okanagan region of British Columbia is one of my favorite places in Canada. The landscape is beautiful, with miles of rolling vineyards and orchards. The locals are amiable, and the food is fantastic.

There’s something for everyone in the Okanagan. If you’re into wine, there are plenty of wineries to visit. 

If you’re a nature lover, there are plenty of hiking trails and parks to explore. And if you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away, the Okanagan has plenty of charming small towns to explore.

I could go on and on about why the Okanagan is worth visiting, but I’ll let you experience it yourself.

15) Gros Morne National Park

If you’re a nature lover, Gros Morne National Park should be on your list of places to visit in Canada. 

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is located at the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula in Newfoundland and Labrador; it is home to rugged mountains, fjords, bogs, and forests full of wildlife.

Gros Morne is well-known for its stunning landscapes and unique geological features. 

You can explore the park’s trails on foot or by kayak, go fishing in Trout River Pond, or take a boat tour of Bonne Bay to spot whales and seabirds.

What is the best time to visit Canada?

No matter what type of vacationer you are, you’ll want to plan your trip to Canada for the best time of year. 

We recommend scheduling your visit during the fall months of September through November, as the weather is often mild and pleasant, and several festive activities take place. 

Many cities and towns host pumpkin, apple, or wine festivals for you to enjoy, perfect for those celebrating the changing seasons!

Alternatively, if you’re looking for a more natural experience, mid-May to late June is a great time to visit Canada. 

The outdoors comes alive with blooming flowers, towering coniferous forests, and wildlife galore. 

While temperatures might still be chilly in some places as late as May, this is when you can witness Calgary’s Stampede and Toronto’s Canadian National Exhibition, not to be missed!
